The Role

The Project Manager will not be based at the Head Office at Park Suites, but will be revolving across all the project sites and devote 100% of his/her time on dealing with project implementation involving site preparation, construction, finishing and handover.

Job Purpose

The Project Manager will play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects. He will liaise with CRM and Sales to ensure complete customer satisfaction. The Project Manager is accountable for the entire project scope, project team, resources, and the success or failure of the project.

Overall Project Management:

  • The Project Manager will be charged with multiple responsibilities that span the five project phases of a project life cycle (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and closing)
  • The Project Manager will also manage project management phases intersection with integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, procurement and stakeholder management
  • The Project Manager is primarily charged with Project’s Risk Management responsibilities;
  • Most of the issues that impact a project result in one way or another from risk.
  • Key among a project manager’s duties is the recognition that risk directly impacts the likelihood of success and that this risk must be both formally and informally measured throughout the lifetime of a project.
  • Risks arise from uncertainty, and the successful project manager is the one who focuses on this as their primary concern.
  • A good project manager can lessen risk significantly, often by adhering to a policy of open communication, ensuring every significant participant has an opportunity to express opinions and concerns.

Initiating phase

  • Integration management: Developing a project charter. A project charter is a formal, typically short document that describes the project in its entirety – including; what the objectives are, how it will be carried out, and who the stakeholders are
  • Stakeholder management: Identifying stakeholders and how they are likely to impact or be impacted by the project


  • Integration management: Developing a project management plan
  • Scope management: Defining and managing scope, creating a work breakdown structure (WBS), and requirements gathering
  • Time management: Planning, defining, and developing schedules, activities, estimating resources and activity durations
  • Costs management: Planning and estimating costs, and determining budgets
  • Quality management: Planning and identifying quality requirements
  • Human Resource management: Planning and identifying human resource needs
  • Communications management: Planning communications
  • Risk management: Planning for and identifying potential risks, performing qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, and planning risk mitigation strategies
  • Procurement management: Planning for and identifying required procurements
  • Stakeholder management: Planning for stakeholder expectations


  • Integration management: Directing and managing all work for the project
  • Quality management: Performing all aspects of managing quality
  • Human resource management: Selecting, developing, and managing the project team
  • Communications management: Managing all aspects of communications
  • Procurement management: Take action on securing necessary procurements
  • Stakeholder management: Managing all stakeholder expectations

Monitoring and Controlling:

  • Integration management: Monitoring and controlling the project work and managing any necessary changes
  • Scope management: Validating and controlling the scope of the project
  • Time management: Controlling the scope of the project
  • Costs management: Controlling project costs
  • Quality management: Controlling the quality of deliverables
  • Communications management: Controlling all team and stakeholder communications
  • Procurement management: Controlling procurements
  • Stakeholder management: Controlling stakeholder engagements

Closing and Handover:

  • Integration management: Closing all phases of the project
  • Procurement management: Closing all project procurements
  • Project Handover: Handing over the project with checklist ticked successfully closed.


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Building/Construction Diploma
  • Any additional relevant certification will be considered an advantage


  • 5-8 years of project management and related experience
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent knowledge of construction operations and equipment
  • Experience and knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Familiarity with blueprints


  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
