Job Description

Position: Assistant Regional Sales Manager.

Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager.

Position Summary

-To drive company turn over to its goal.

-Offering excellent customer service to new and existing customers.

-To create and present performance reports.

Responsibilities

  • To grow the revenue of the company by driving its interest to the market on general trade.
  • Supporting Store/shop attendant with day-to-day store operation
  • Report on regional sales results
  • Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
  • Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
  • Inform on competitive services, promotional matter, sales technique, pricing and marketing policies.
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
  • Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service
  • Tracks sales data and works to meet quotas or sales team goals
  • Analyses trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance.
  • Creates and presents regular performance reports for managers and executives.
  • Implements and adheres to company policies and procedures.
  • Attends trade shows and travels to meet clients as needed and required.
  • Generate and qualify prospective leads and referrals.
  • Develops strategies for more effective sales both individually and as part of a team.
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis for prospective clients and advise on appropriate purchase options.
  • Obtaining deposits, balance of payments and collection of debt from clients.
  • Answer client’s questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability.
  • Product training; comprehensively research and present on a product as assigned to you by management.
  • Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by getting feedback on already supplied goods.
  • Ensure that daily banking is done and on time and share the banking slip with the Nairobi office on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that feedback forms are issued for all the trial samples given out, keep track of the sample progress and follow up for feedback at the end of the trial period.
  • Ensure proper CRM is prepared and shared to the management for general trde.
