Graphic Designer Job

MediaPal is looking for a Graphics Designer who will be responsible for developing creative concepts, designing layouts, creating advertising material, and designing content for both internal and external communications. He/she will work around graphic design, digital media and advertising, website design, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with back-end and full-stack engineers to complete projects and improve platform usability.
  • Create wireframes and mockups of site/application designs supported by the design team.
  • Turn feedback into custom solutions for client needs.
  • Develop creative concepts through brainstorms and team collaboration.
  • Design internal communications, templates for presentations and newsletters.
  • Ensure adherence to MediaPal’s branding guide
  • Digital Design (Social media banners, Digital banner ads etc.)
  • Get feedback from and build solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Write functional requirement documents and guides.
  • Create quality mockups and prototypes.
  • Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
  • Assist in digital content development like basic content updates on the company website.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
  • Transforming rough ideas and general concepts into actions, projects, and completed products or messages.
  • Leading the creative team and directing project completion in line with company goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Lightroom etc.)
  • Prove basic website design skills and knowledge (Content Management Systems, HTML etc.)
  • Any extra design-related certification is an added advantage
  • Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software
  • Exceptional creativity and innovation
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
  • Professional approach to time and deadlines
  • Problem-solving skills that can help work around issues with content development
  • Self-motivated and great communication/teamwork skills
