How Often Should You Switch Jobs?

Whenever you change jobs, the assumption is that you are looking for greener pastures. You might have gotten a better offer, or you got a position at an organization of your dreams.

Changing jobs in such circumstances is expected. However, if you switch jobs often without staying at your previous for three months or so, you become a job hopper.

This begs the question; does job-hopping make or break your career?

In as much as you think that all that matters is to get the greener pastures, changing jobs severally within a short period is detrimental to your career.

It will get to a point where the employers will be alarmed by your rate of shifting jobs. A job hopper is considered as someone who does not commit to their work.
