Mechanic – Packaging Manufacturing Company (28K)

Integrated Staffing and Training Limited was formed in response to demands for a more flexible, cost effective and tailored recruitment services. The company seeks to bridge the gap between employers and job seekers in various industries.

Our client in the packaging manufacturing industry is looking for a mechanic with experience in a similar industry. Reporting to the operations manager.

Number of positions: 2

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Perform major and minor mechanical repairs.
  2. Conduct regular maintenance on machinery and systems.
  3. Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
  4. Examine machines and oversee operational tests to determine functionality problems.
  5. Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.
  6. Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements
  7. Do welding and other mechanical works as required for effective machine operation.
  8. Operate tools, equipment, and machinery and perform duties according to prescribed safety procedures.
  9. Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the supervisor immediately.
  10. Undertake other duties as assigned by your superiors.


Education; Technical diploma or equivalent

Experience; Minimum 2 years working with Tapeline, Looms, Blowfilm, Autocut and Stitching machines.

Salary; 28,000 Kshs
